A gift worth giving. make two beautiful pillow cases. At first i was undecided, i wanted to give a gift that looked valuable but didn't cost a fortune. I thought about it for a while which store i should purchase my gift. After giving some thought i decided to pull out my sewing machine. I cut two simple blocks that would fit the pillows. <br />I pulled out some of the most elegant lace i had purchased, just perfect for the top and bottom and sides of my pillow cases.<br />I saved my energy and time , not to forget gas and going from store to store. When you see something that interest you began sketching your interest on paper. cut out your thoughts and apply to a larger piece of fabric. Purchase a glue stick at any fabric store, cut a block of fabric the color you would like your back ground to be. Sew your work of art unto fabric. Decorate back ground with maybe flowers and trees, add a blue sky and other scenes that will dress your block. Remember purchase only small cuts of fabric like a quater of a yard or a half of yard or less. In order to have a beautiful block cost very little. Add a border using two different colors.
